The Honored Dead

Not all who die depart entirely. Some ancestors, through great deeds or powerful bonds, maintain connection to the living world. These benevolent spirits watch over their descendants, offering guidance and protection.

Ancestor spirits may communicate through dreams, omens, or during thin-Veil moments. Some families maintain shrines where ancestors can be consulted. Mediums and priests can facilitate clearer contact.

Obligations

Those who benefit from ancestral guidance bear obligations in return. Regular offerings, maintenance of family honor, and continuation of family lines please the ancestors. Neglect may cause them to withdraw protection or express displeasure.
