Corruption of the Cycle

The Void hungers for all existence, and death provides opportunity. Void energies can intercept souls in passage, corrupt the natural journey, and twist the dead into servants of entropy. This represents one of the greatest threats to existence.

Void Undead

Unlike natural undead, void-touched creatures serve the annihilation of all things. They spread corruption, tear at the Veil, and seek to drag souls into the Void rather than allowing natural passage. They cannot be reasoned with.

Protection

Proper funeral rites include protections against void interference. Holy symbols guard tombs. The faithful of Elarion actively patrol the Veil against void incursion. Those who work with void energies are condemned because their actions endanger all souls.
