Description
Water Elementals are living water, able to take any shape from gentle streams to crushing waves. They are typically translucent, with hints of blue or green, and can contain debris or even creatures within their forms.
Behavior
Water Elementals are protective of their water sources and will attack those who pollute or dam their flows. They are generally calmer than Fire Elementals and more willing to communicate, though their alien perspective can make negotiations challenging.
Combat
Lightning magic is devastatingly effective against Water Elementals. Cold magic can freeze them temporarily. They are most dangerous in or near water; on dry land, their power diminishes rapidly.
Lore
Taninivers faithful consider Water Elementals sacred, as they embody the cleansing and healing aspects of their goddess. Many healing springs are tended by bound Water Elementals who work cooperatively with the priests.
