Description

These serpentine dragons lack wings but possess fins and gills adapted for oceanic life. Their scales shimmer like pearls, and their length can exceed the largest ships. They command the waters as their land-dwelling cousins command the skies.

Behavior

Sea Serpent Dragons are territorial but not inherently aggressive. They demand tribute from ships passing through their waters and may sink those who refuse. Some form pacts with coastal kingdoms, providing protection for offerings.

Combat Notes

Naval combat is suicidal - they control the battlefield. Their breath weapon creates crushing water pressure or freezing cold. On land they are weakened but still formidable. Negotiate if possible.
