Description

Dragon young between hatching and adolescence are called wyrmlings. Despite their small size - merely horse-sized - they possess all the capabilities of adult dragons in diminished form. Their scales have not yet hardened fully.

Behavior

Wyrmlings are curious, aggressive, and dangerously overconfident. They test their growing powers on anything they encounter. Most stay near their parent lair, but some venture out seeking their own territory prematurely.

Combat Notes

Do not underestimate them - they breathe fire and fly. Their scales are softer than adults but still resistant. Killing one guarantees parental retribution. Sometimes can be reasoned with due to curiosity.
