Description

Cat-sized dragons with full wings and a stinging tail, pseudodragons are intelligent creatures often sought as familiars by mages. They cannot breathe fire but possess telepathic abilities and surprising cleverness.

Behavior

Pseudodragons are selective about companionship, choosing partners rather than being chosen. They communicate through empathic images and emotions. Wild ones live in small family groups, hunting vermin and small game.

Combat Notes

Their tail sting induces sleep rather than death. They prefer to flee danger. Capturing one is difficult - they are excellent at hiding and escaping. Treat potential companions with respect.
