Description

Massive creatures combining turtle shell with draconic head and limbs, Dragon Turtles are among the most dangerous creatures in coastal waters. Their shells can exceed fifty feet, and they can capsize ships with ease.

Behavior

Dragon Turtles are intelligent and greedy, demanding tribute from passing vessels. Those who pay are granted safe passage; those who refuse are sunk and eaten. Some negotiate exclusive contracts with trading companies.

Combat Notes

Their steam breath scalds everything on deck. The shell defeats most weapons. Fight only from shore with siege weapons. Better to pay tribute than fight - they remember those who try.
