Description

Frost Giants stand over twenty feet tall, with blue-tinged skin and hair like frozen waterfalls. They are far more intelligent than Hill Giants, with a sophisticated society based around strength, honor, and survival in harsh conditions.

Behavior

Frost Giants respect strength and directness. They will sometimes parley with those who show courage, though their idea of respect often involves physical contests. They raid warmer lands during winter but generally keep to their frozen territories.

Combat

Frost Giants wield massive weapons of ice and steel, and can generate freezing cold from their bodies. Fire magic is effective against them, but getting close enough to use it is dangerous. They often fight in coordinated groups, unlike their dimmer cousins.

Lore

The Frost Giants claim to have lived in Borea since before the Elves arrived, surviving even Nyxoras attempted conquest. Whether this is true or boasting, they are among the oldest inhabitants of Aedelore.
