Entropy Weaver
Type: Reality-dissolving entity
Habitat: Tears in the Boundary, ruins of Ambers Call
Threat Level: Extreme
Description
Entropy Weavers are among the most dangerous Void entities that can manifest in Aedelore. They exist to unmake-dissolving matter and magic alike into raw nothingness. Where they pass, reality itself grows thin, creating permanent weak points in the Boundary.
Behavior
Unlike predatory Void creatures, Entropy Weavers do not hunt. They simply move, and everything they touch ceases to exist. They are drawn to concentrations of magic and life, perhaps because these represent the antithesis of the Void they serve.
Combat
Direct engagement with an Entropy Weaver is suicide. The only effective strategy is containment-using wards to redirect its path away from populated areas until it eventually dissipates or returns to the Void. The Arcane Creed maintains protocols for such containment, but even these are not always successful.
Lore
It is believed that Entropy Weavers are not sent by the Void but simply emerge when the Boundary weakens sufficiently. They are symptoms of corruption rather than its agents-a sign that reality itself is beginning to fail.
