Description

Grondar''s Maul is an enormous warhammer of black iron, too heavy for any but the strongest Dwarves to lift. Its head is inscribed with runes that glow like magma when the weapon strikes.

History

Forged by the legendary smith Grondar for Thrain the Builder, founder of Ambers Call. The Maul was used to shape the foundations of that great city and later to defend it. It was lost when the city fell to Void corruption.

Powers

The Maul can shatter any material-stone, metal, magical barriers, nothing can withstand its blow. It also carries Tiamats blessing, making its wielder as unyielding as the earth itself.

Requirements

Only those of Dwarven blood can lift the Maul. Many believe it still lies somewhere in the ruins of Ambers Call, waiting to be reclaimed.
