Description

Whisperwind is a longbow of silver-white wood that does not exist in Aedelore-one of the few surviving artifacts from the lost Elven homeland. It is nearly weightless and makes no sound when drawn or fired.

History

Carried through the Crossing by a ranger whose name has been forgotten, Whisperwind served in every major conflict since the Elves arrived. It was wielded by Faelyn Swiftarrow during the Siege of Rivermount and remains in the city it helped defend.

Powers

Arrows fired from Whisperwind fly true regardless of wind or distance, and can strike targets the archer can see regardless of intervening obstacles. The bow also renders its wielder silent while drawn.

Requirements

Whisperwind bonds with skilled archers and refuses to function for those it deems unworthy. The current bonded wielder is Captain Lyrien of the Rivermount Guard.
