Description

Dawnbreaker is a longsword of golden steel that glows with inner light. Its blade never dulls, and in darkness, it shines like a small sun. The crossguard is shaped like spreading wings, and the pommel contains a fragment of Starlight Crystal from Elarion.

History

Forged by Elven smiths during the desperate days of the Grand Battle, Dawnbreaker was wielded by Commander Aelindris against the Void-touched armies. It has been carried by heroes throughout history, appearing whenever Aedelore faces its darkest hours.

Powers

Dawnbreaker deals devastating damage to creatures of darkness and the Void. Its light cannot be extinguished by any means, and it can cut through magical darkness as easily as physical matter. The wielder gains resistance to fear and despair.

Requirements

Dawnbreaker cannot be wielded by those who serve darkness or have been touched by the Void. It will not allow itself to be drawn by the unworthy.
