Where Light and Shadow Dance
Chapter I
I.Six flames fell from the Black Sun, and where they touched the void, form crystallized. This was the first shaping — light becoming matter, potential becoming place.
II.Taninsam's fire beats at the world's heart, giving warmth to stone and passion to blood. Tanin'iver's waters flow through every vein, carrying memory and healing.
III.Leviathan's breath fills the sky, stirring change where stillness would breed stagnation. Tiamat's bones form the mountains, patient and eternal beneath all that moves.
IV.Tatsu shepherds the spark within each living thing — that fragment of divine light called soul. Tohu weaves the invisible threads that bind all to all.
V.In Lorenzia, the Elves remember starlight. In Tyralia, Humans build toward futures they will not live to see. In the deep halls, Dwarves speak to stone, and stone answers.
VI.Above the clouds drift the Floating Isles — wounds in the sky where reality itself was torn. Below the waves sleeps the Sunken City, dreaming of what it was and what it might become.
VII.Seven peoples walk the land. Six gods dream beneath. Fourteen faiths seek the light. And in every shadow, something watches, waiting for the seals to weaken further.
Chapter II
I.In the time before counting, the Black Sun dreamed within the Void — gathering the essence of three fallen worlds, three great cycles of creation and dissolution.
II.When at last it released its gathered light, six Divine Aspects emerged as vessels of the Eternal Fire. They named this world Aedelore — the Land of Divine Light.
III.For an age, the veil between mortal and divine was thin, and wonders walked openly upon the land. Yet know that peace among the unenlightened is but a fleeting shadow.
IV.Pride kindled flames of war. For fifty years the races bled. When mortal hands refused to stay their violence, the Aspects stirred from slumber and judged them with sacred fire.
V.As punishment, Tohu withdrew magic from the world. The divine light dimmed. Some Elves, touched by mortality, became the first Humans. This was the Age of Silence.
VI.Now ancient forces stir once more. At Rivermount, the First Seal was broken. Blood flowed into the Lake of Shadows, and that which sleeps beneath began to remember that it exists.
VII.This is the Age of Awakening. The light returns — but so does the shadow. Those who would stand against the darkness are sought. The hour grows late.
