Human Traditions

Elven Traditions

Elves return their dead to nature through sky burial in sacred groves. The body is laid upon platforms for birds and elements to reclaim. Songs of remembrance may continue for years. Personal effects often buried at the base of a commemorative tree.

Dwarven Traditions

Dwarves entomb their dead in stone crypts within the mountains. Elaborate ceremonies seal the deceased with their finest work. Ancestor halls preserve memories through carved records. To die far from mountain stone is considered tragedy.

Halfling Traditions

Halflings celebrate the dead with feasts and stories, focusing on happy memories. Simple burials in family plots follow. Grave sites become gathering places for regular remembrance. Death is treated as natural part of life cycle.
