Description

The mightiest of incorporeal undead, Wraith Lords were once beings of great power whose souls became so steeped in darkness they transcended normal undeath. They command lesser spirits and can corrupt the living with a touch.

Behavior

Wraith Lords build courts of lesser undead, ruling shadow domains that mirror the living world. They seek to expand their influence, converting the living into spectral servants. Some remember their mortal goals and pursue them eternally.

Combat Notes

Powerful magic weapons required to even harm them. They can possess the weak-willed. Sunlight causes pain but they can endure it. Only complete destruction of their anchor object truly ends them.
