Description

When a would-be lich fails their transformation ritual, the result is often a Boneclaw - a skeletal horror with elongated limbs ending in razor claws. Standing ten feet tall with arms reaching twice that, they are slaves to whoever was nearest during their failed ascension.

Behavior

Boneclaws are psychically bound to a living master, often without that person knowledge. They lurk in shadows, emerging to protect or serve their unknowing bond-holder. They take cruel pleasure in killing.

Combat Notes

Their claws extend supernaturally far and slice through armor. They can teleport between shadows. Finding and eliminating their living bond-holder weakens them significantly. Holy magic effective.
