Description

When trolls grow exceptionally old and well-fed, they become Brutes - massive specimens standing fifteen feet tall with regeneration so powerful they can regrow from near-complete destruction. They lead troll warbands and claim the best feeding grounds.

Behavior

Troll Brutes are driven by insatiable hunger. They dominate lesser trolls through violence and control hunting territories. Some display disturbing cunning, setting ambushes and raiding strategically.

Combat Notes

Regeneration even more powerful than normal trolls. Fire and acid still work but must be applied continuously. They can reattach severed limbs or grow new ones. Overwhelming force required.
