Description

Adapted to life in eternal darkness, Cave Trolls have pale, nearly translucent skin and heightened senses. Larger and slower than forest trolls, they compensate with even more powerful regeneration and stone-like hide.

Behavior

Cave Trolls are ambush predators, waiting motionless for prey to wander past. They have claimed entire cave systems, picking off explorers one by one. They fear bright light, which burns their sensitive skin.

Combat Notes

Light magic causes them pain and slows regeneration. Fire and acid still work. Their stone-like hide resists piercing weapons. In their home caves, they know every shadow and passage.
