Description

Ogres are nine-foot-tall brutes, vaguely humanoid but with exaggerated features-huge heads, massive jaws, and disproportionate limbs. They are stupid, violent, and always hungry.

Behavior

Ogres live alone or in small bands, surviving through hunting and banditry. They will eat anything they can catch and have no qualms about cannibalism. They sometimes serve more intelligent creatures as muscle, trading violence for regular meals.

Combat

Ogres are strong but slow and predictable. They attack head-on with whatever weapon is at hand-usually a crude club or their bare fists. A disciplined group can defeat an ogre by exploiting its poor coordination and limited intelligence.

Lore

Some believe Ogres are degraded Trolls, others that they are a separate creation. Whatever their origin, they are universally considered a menace to be eliminated rather than reasoned with.
