Description

Ettins are two-headed giants standing about thirteen feet tall. Each head has its own personality and they often argue with each other, making Ettins unpredictable and erratic. One head is usually dominant.

Behavior

Ettins are solitary due to their difficulty getting along with anyone, including each other. They are territorial and aggressive, attacking anything that enters their domain while their heads debate tactics-sometimes helpfully, sometimes not.

Combat

The two heads give Ettins exceptional awareness-they are nearly impossible to surprise or flank. However, their internal disagreements can cause hesitation at critical moments. Exploiting these hesitations is the key to defeating them.

Lore

Ettins are sometimes pitied as much as feared-neither head is truly in control, and some seem genuinely tormented by their condition. Whether they can be treated is unknown; no one has tried.
