Description

Wingless dragons with only two front legs, lindworms are often mistaken for giant serpents. They are smaller than true dragons but far more common, lurking in wetlands where they ambush prey. Their venom is particularly feared.

Behavior

Lindworms are ambush predators, lying in wait beneath water or mud. They attack anything they can swallow, including humans. Territorial, they drive away rivals except during mating season.

Combat Notes

Their venom causes paralysis and tissue decay. They strike from concealment - watch the water. No breath weapon but powerful constriction. Fire effective but difficult in wet environments.
