Description

When a dragon undergoes the same dark ritual as a lich, the result is a dracolich - an undead dragon whose skeletal form retains all its living power plus the benefits of undeath. These horrors are thankfully rare, as the ritual requires tremendous dark power.

Behavior

Dracoliches pursue the same goals as living dragons - hoarding, dominion, worship - but with the patience of eternity. They build cults of living servants and undead armies. Their intelligence exceeds their living form.

Combat Notes

Combines dragon abilities with undead immunities. Their phylactery must be found and destroyed. Breath weapon becomes necrotic energy. Flee unless equipped with legendary weapons and powerful magic.
