Description

These massive water serpents bear a single crystalline horn upon their brow, said to possess healing properties. Their scales shimmer like opals, and they can grow longer than sailing ships. Ancient beyond measure, some are worshipped as river gods.

Behavior

Territorial guardians of their waterways. They may allow peaceful passage or demand tribute depending on their mood. Angered Horned Serpents have destroyed entire fleets. Some form bonds with those who show proper respect.

Combat Notes

The horn can cast spells and deflect magic. Fighting in water is suicide - lure to land if possible. Their scales fetch fortunes but harvesting them enrages others of their kind.
