Description

Dire Wolves are massive versions of common wolves, standing as tall as a horse at the shoulder. Their fur ranges from silver-gray to pure black, and their yellow eyes gleam with predatory intelligence.

Behavior

Dire Wolves hunt in packs, using sophisticated tactics to bring down prey much larger than themselves. They are fiercely territorial and will defend their hunting grounds against all intruders, including other predators and armed travelers.

Combat

A single Dire Wolf is dangerous; a pack is deadly. They coordinate their attacks, with some members distracting prey while others strike from behind. They are vulnerable to fire and will usually retreat if their pack takes significant casualties.

Lore
