Description

These magnificent mountain dwellers bear horns of living crystal that grow throughout their lives. The horns refract light into rainbow patterns and are prized by mages for their magical conductivity. Their thick wool resists both cold and fire.

Behavior

Live in herds led by the ram with the largest horns. Males clash horns in contests that ring like bells across valleys. Generally avoid confrontation but will defend themselves and their herds with lethal charges.

Combat Notes

The crystal horns can pierce armor and shatter on impact, sending razor shards everywhere. Their charge builds magical energy released on impact. Best hunted from distance with bows.
