Description

Corrupted Ones are ordinary animals that have been twisted by prolonged Void exposure. Their forms become distorted-extra limbs, eyes in wrong places, bodies that bend in impossible ways. Their behavior becomes aggressive, predatory, and seemingly driven by malice rather than instinct.

Behavior

Unlike other Void creatures, Corrupted Ones retain some memory of their original nature. A corrupted wolf still hunts in packs; a corrupted bear still defends territory. But these behaviors are twisted toward cruelty-they kill not for food but seemingly for pleasure, and they target intelligent prey over easier alternatives.

Combat

Corrupted Ones are tougher and more aggressive than their uncorrupted counterparts, but they remain vulnerable to the same weapons. Fire and blessed weapons are more effective than normal. The true danger is their unpredictability-corruption seems to grant them an unsettling cunning.

Lore

The sight of a Corrupted One often causes more psychological damage than physical. To see a creature that was once natural twisted into something hateful reminds observers of what the Void truly wants: not destruction, but perversion-the corruption of everything good into something terrible.
