Description

Tiny fey standing no taller than a foot, brownies secretly inhabit homes and farms, performing helpful tasks while families sleep. They mend clothes, clean, and tend animals in exchange for small offerings of cream and bread.

Behavior

Brownies are shy and rarely seen. They form attachments to families and homes, sometimes serving for generations. However, they are easily offended - gifts of clothing drive them away, and mockery earns their enmity.

Combat Notes

Offended brownies become boggarts, causing endless mischief. They turn invisible at will. Appeasing them requires sincere apology and proper offerings. Never threaten or trap them.
