Description

This simple gold band was created by a general who wished to ensure the loyalty of his officers. It bound the wearer to absolute obedience-and absolute suffering if that obedience wavered.

Curse

The Ring cannot be removed once worn. It compels obedience to whoever placed it on the wearer''s finger, enforcing commands through intense pain. Death is the only escape.

History

The general used the Rings to control his command staff, creating an army of unwilling slaves. When the Treaty of Nortaq was signed, the Ring''s enslaved officers were freed by destroying the master ring-killing the general in the process.

Notes on the Ring''s creation survive. The Conclave works to suppress this knowledge, but copies may exist in private collections.
