Description

This fist-sized piece of amber seems to contain a tiny figure-because it does. The Prison can trap souls, holding them in eternal consciousness within the gem.

Curse

Those trapped in the Amber Prison do not die; they cannot die. They exist in perfect awareness, unable to move, speak, or act, for as long as the gem exists. Some have been trapped for centuries.

History

Created as a punishment for the worst criminals, the Prison was lost when Ambers Call fell. The Void-touched who overran the city may have found it-or it may lie buried in the ruins, its prisoners still aware, still waiting.

Warning

Freeing those trapped requires shattering the gem, which releases all imprisoned souls simultaneously. Given that some were imprisoned for very good reasons, this may not be advisable.
