History

When wild magic threatened to tear the world asunder, the great mages gathered to impose order upon chaos. The Collegium emerged from this crisis, dedicated to the responsible study and regulation of the arcane arts.

Structure

The Archmage Council leads, with ranks progressing from Apprentice through Journeyman, Adept, and Master. Each school of magic has its own Tower and traditions. Membership requires demonstrated talent and years of study.

Activities

Trains and certifies mages. Researches new magical applications. Regulates dangerous magic. Advises rulers on arcane matters. Hunts rogue practitioners who threaten public safety.
