History

When knowledge began slipping away, lost to war and neglect, the Chroniclers arose to preserve it. They copy manuscripts, interview witnesses to events, and compile histories that might otherwise be forgotten.

Structure

Grand Librarian oversees the Great Library. Senior Chroniclers manage regional archives. Juniors travel collecting information. Associate members contribute without formal commitment.

Activities

Preserve written works through copying. Record oral histories. Maintain archives accessible to scholars. Authenticate documents. Occasionally suppress dangerous knowledge deemed too perilous for general access.
