Description

Semi-transparent and wavering like heat haze, Spiritveil grows where the boundary between life and death has worn thin. The plant exists partially in the spirit realm, visible only to those with magical sight or during certain phases of the moon.

Magical Properties

Allows communication with the dead when properly prepared. Essential component in ghost-binding rituals and exorcisms. Can be used to create temporary incorporeality or to anchor wandering spirits.

Harvesting Notes

Must be gathered on nights when spirits walk freely. Use consecrated silver sickles. The plant may attract spirits during harvest - prepare appropriate protections. Store in vessels inscribed with spirit-warding runes.
