Description

The Flamelily burns without consuming itself, its petals actual flames given botanical form. It requires no soil, growing directly from rock heated by volcanic activity. The flower produces no seeds - new specimens simply ignite into existence where conditions permit.

Magical Properties

Primary ingredient in potions of fire resistance and fire-breathing elixirs. Enchanted weapons benefit from Flamelily essence, gaining properties of flame. The flower can also be used to create ever-burning torches.

Harvesting Notes

Obviously requires immunity or resistance to fire for safe collection. The flame does not transfer to containers - the flower simply extinguishes if removed carelessly. Must be transported in specially enchanted crystal vessels.
