Description

These hunting beasts of the void resemble wolves made of fractured space, their forms constantly shifting as if seen through broken glass. They phase between realities, appearing and disappearing at will during their hunts.

Behavior

Rift Hounds hunt in packs, using dimensional shifting to flank and overwhelm prey. They track across dimensional boundaries - escaping to another plane merely delays them. Once they have a scent, they never stop hunting.

Combat Notes

Dimensional anchor magic prevents their phasing. Strike during the moment they materialize to attack. Silver disrupts their form temporarily. Killing the pack alpha causes others to flee.
