Description

The legendary phoenix is fire given life and purpose. Its magnificent plumage burns eternally, and upon death, it is reborn from its own ashes. Seeing one is considered the greatest blessing - or warning of great change to come.

Behavior

Phoenixes are noble and wise, rarely interfering in mortal affairs. They appear during times of great transition - the fall of kingdoms, the rise of heroes. They do not attack unless profoundly provoked.

Combat Notes

Effectively immortal - they resurrect from ashes. Their flames purify rather than merely burn. Tears can heal any wound. Fighting one is pointless; earn their respect instead.
