Description

Blue or green-skinned giant-kin with horns and tusks, oni are shapeshifters who infiltrate humanoid society. They can assume any humanoid form and use this ability to position themselves for feeding on mortals they have grown to trust.

Behavior

Oni are patient predators. They integrate into communities, earning trust before revealing their nature and feasting. They prefer positions of authority and enjoy the terror of betrayal as much as the meal itself.

Combat Notes

Shapeshifting makes them hard to identify. They regenerate like trolls. Flight and invisibility provide escape options. Their true form is powerful in combat. Iron weapons prevent regeneration.
