Description

Part crocodile, part something far worse, the Mire Stalker lurks in murky waters waiting for prey. Six-legged and covered in moss-green scales, they can remain submerged for hours. Their jaws unhinge to swallow prey whole.

Behavior

Ambush predators of terrible patience. They create underwater tunnels and dens in riverbanks. During breeding season, their bellowing calls echo for miles. Will attack boats and rafts if hungry enough.

Combat Notes

Never enter their waters willingly. On land they are slower but still deadly. Fire effective but difficult to use in wet environments. Watch for subtle ripples that betray their presence.
