Description

The Erlking is a towering fey lord of the wild hunt, appearing as a majestic figure with antlers of silver and eyes of starlight. He leads spectral hunters across the sky, and to catch his attention is to become either hunter or hunted.

Behavior

The Erlking hunts the most dangerous prey - those who have offended the fey, oathbreakers, or simply those who draw his interest. Being chosen for his hunt is usually fatal, but survivors earn his respect and boons.

Combat Notes

Do not fight the Erlking. Flee, hide, or prove yourself worthy prey that earns release. His hunt includes spectral riders and hounds. Ancient protections and fey bargains are the only reliable defenses.
